We asked the founder why she started this business.

A car accident changed a person's life. The impermanence of life only lasts for one second. The meaning of life is not necessarily to earn what you want, but to live the life you want.

In 2011, in order to find the true meaning and value of life, the founder of PMV Cafe decided to give up his professional car repair job in Singapore and start a business from the heart.

After returning to Johor Bahru, he started in volunteering work and became a vegetarian. His girlfriend at the time (who is also the wife) was a volunteer and a vegetarian too. Hence, two of them decided to open a vegetarian restaurant to promote vegetarianism.

When the business was started, they knew nothing and stumbled many times. When chefs and employees resigned, they were even more frightened. They wanted to give up many times, but when they think back to why they chose to be a vegetarian in the first place, they tried to find a way to survive!

Because they didn’t give up, because of faith was firm enough, and because they were convinced that dream was about to become a reality. After several years of hard work, they found the right method and led a group of like-minded teams to continue to grow and branch out in various districts of Johor Bahru. Several more branches were opened.

"静思" means “Pure Minded“ .

“静“ means the green hills are uncontested, "思" means the blessed fields are plowed with heart. Every life in the world should originally be equal and have its own value for survival. "静思" is of great significance to the founder, and upholds the heart of responsibility and gratitude. Be grateful to the earth for nurturing all kinds of natural ingredients. Delicious food does not have to deprive it of human life, but what nature gives us is the best gift. Therefore, "Pure Minded Vegetarian Cafe ( PMV Cafe) " strives to bring healthy and delicious vegetarian food to customers. As long as one more person eats more vegetables, the burden on the earth can be reduced. In this way, we can leave a clean earth for our next generation.
